Skopje - city tour

Skopje is the capital and largest city of Macedonia. Is located on the upper course of the Vardar river, and is located on a major north-south Balkan route between Belgrade and Athens. It is the country's political, cultural, economic, and academic center.

We travel towards the capital Skopje and wnjoy the scenery. We stop for a short break at the mountain pass called Straza and then canyon of Matka. When we arrive in Skopje, we stop by the old rainway station where you will see the old clock reminds us of the earthquake in 1963. After that, we go to visit Mother Teresa’s Memorial House. We walk through the Macedonia square, Alexander the Great, across the Stone Bridge and visit the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle. We have free time to lunch. Next stop is the old part of Skopje, where we have one hour of free time, so you can enjoy in the ambiance of Skopje Old Shopping District. After that we will go to see the Porta Macedonia and Parliament Building. At 18:00 the group departs for Ohrid.
